ChicoryLane Farm has a variety of natural environments, including several kinds of wetlands, forests, and grasslands. It also has streams, vernal pools, and a pond.

This diverse environment attracts  a wide variety of birds. So, please join us to to see which late winter / early spring species are around.  The walk will begin at 7:30 AM. Depending on interest and conditions, an evening walk may also take place to see/hear if any Woodcocks have arived.

The walk will be led by Joe Gyekis and James Lesher.

Admission is free.

Directions:

• Address is 246 Brush Mountain Rd., Sring Mills, PA 16875
• Farm is on the East side of Brush Mtn. Rd, 0.2 miles down our farm lane
• The lane is 0.7 miles North of rt. 45 or ~2.5 miles South of rt. 192, just beynd Green Grove Rd.
• Via rt.45: Brush Mtn. Rd. is 1.5 miles East of Spring Mills or 3 miles West of Millheim
• Via 192: Brush Mtn. Rd. is 8-9 miles East of Centre Hall or 3-4 miles West of rt. 445 (the road that comes through the Narrows from Millheim)
